Good win today. The loons made heavy weather o it in the 1st half in which we dominated the pitch. KBC were only in our half aboot 3 times. We created plenty of chances but poor finishin and some bad decision making from some of the loons (passing when they should hav been shooting or takin on the defender and treatin the ba like a hot tattie) meant we went in at half time only 1-0 up. Conner scored it for us. 1-0 half time.
2nd half we made a couple of changes and got an early goal. Jamie leapt like a salmon to bullet home a header fae Greggs cross. 2-0. The loons now pushed home our advantage, Ross got the next 2 goals for 4-0, Conner got his hattrick one of them a great header fae a corner, 6-0. Jamie got his second with a long range effort, 7-0. KBC got 2 goals and I think it was because we switched off a bit in midfield cos at the back Daniel and Neal at fullback got the chance to push on today. Craig at sweeper and James in goals probably winna hae an easier game all season. The 2 goals were the only time KBC got near our goal.(Nae good ahead of next week so we need to concentrate a bity mare) We finished of the game well though wi Ian scorin no.8 and Gary capping a man of the match performance for us with 2 good long range goals for a final score of 10-2.
Good result considering we've nae played for nearly a month and at half time the loons took on board athing they were tealt cos the 2nd half was a lot mare positive all over the pitch. Well done to Conner for his hattrick from centre mid and Gary for his performance from centre mid too, he won heaps of headers and drove the team on startin the attacks and winnin it back to get going again.
