Kemney 1-9 Huntly

An excellent performance fae the whole team theday. We attacked right fae the start, made a few chances but Darren Manson got the 1st when he ran down the keeper's clearance and put hame the loose ba. 0-1. Ross Mackie was supplyin plenty o good ba fae the right and Ian Cruickshank got no.2 when he poked one of them in. 0-2. Jamie Goodall got the third wi a neat left foot finish across the keeper. 0-3. Greg Morrison had the pass o the day to set up Darren wi no. 4 (he also finished wi his left fit). 0-4 half time.
2nd half, unlike last week, we kept up the pressure. Ian got his 2nd of the day when his shot was deflected in. 0-5. Darren got his hattrick for 0-6. We then had a bit of drama. Kemney had a corner, they got a good shot at goal which beat James Evans but Neal Weir instinctivly put his hands up to stop it on the line. The ref gave a penalty and sent Neal off. They scored fae the penalty. 1-6. The sending off never really upset us because we were so much on top, Ross Mackie got his 1st o the season for 1-7, Greg Morrison made it 1-8 wi a deflected shot fae a corner and Darren got his 4th of the day when he tucked hame a good cross fae Liam Donaldson, 1-9 full time.
James in goals was a spectator for maest of the game cos we played at well in front o him. There was lots of chances made and at last some o the loons were confident enough to tak a shot wi their weaker foot(2 o the goals were scored like that). Ross and Jamie gave us good width the hale game and thats far maest o the chances came fae. The Defence was solid throughout, midfield played all the right passes. Darren was man o the match with his 4 goals.
