Formartine 7-3 Huntly YFC

A good and bad performance where we probably lost the game in the last 15 mins of the 1st half. We kept them oot untill 20 mins in when Formartine's pressure told with the wind behind them and the slope against us. After the 1st goal the heads went down a bit and we went 4-0 down before Gary pulled 1 back wi a looping shot. 4-1 half time. I will say that Formartine's goals didna all come fae us being poor they did play some good fitba and Neal had a torrid time wi their left winger.
2nd half the wind and the slope helped us and we came oot and got stuck in. Aiden(c) picked up a bad head knock and had to come off. He was taken to hospital and the doctor said he'll be unable to play for a week. Angus moved back to centre half and had an impressive game there. Other Aidan then pulled 2 goals back for us to make it 4-3. Formartine were rockin now and i think if we had taken our chances and pulled level we maybe could have got something oot of the game but we gave away a soft goal and lost our momentum. Final score 7-3.
Man of the match for us I think was Jamie who once again was involved in all our good moves, Neal had a tough 1st half but pulled through 2nd, Aidan was a handfull upfront, James made a difference 2nd half in midfield and Matthew did upfront too.
Riverside at home on sunday so we really have to win to break the run of defeats we've been on.
