FORMARTINE 2 HUNTLY 8

We used the full quota of overage players in this 21`s game played on a bumpy soft surface at North Lodge(Mon 11th Oct) on a fine night for fitba.

We dominated and forgot to note the scorers but PA Bruce, Paul Young, Athol Cadger, Ross McKenzie and Coco were among the scorers.

Ritchy Taylor took a sore one early in the game and limped off.

F-T. 2-8.

The younger lads that were involved did really well.

Scorers were, Ross McKenzie 2, Paul Young 2, Coco, PA, Wicker and a OG which am assuming is the goal Bryan is giving to Athol.

Thought PA Bruce although only scoring the one was very impressive, he never stopped the whole game and put in a fair shift of running also had a hand in most of the Huntly goals, surly a cert to start on sat against fort.

Must agree Bryan the young lads that where involved did really well, none of them looked out of place alongside the more experienced players. Thought Huntly took all their goals really well, but let themselves down with really slack defending for both Fortmartine goals.

Notice no praise for the officials this week Bryan no wonder thought Cammy had a nightmare, seen less cards and more serious fouls on a saturday, but no no Cammy had to keep up his quota!

PA had a great game.
Ref lost the plot.
Tricky did a decent rent a crowd job.
Well done to Formartine for opening the pie shop.

Magic Fraser chuffed you noted the scorers.

Must agree PA had a tremendous shift as did Wicker who also added a bit of class.

The pie shop put aboot 20-30 pies in the changing room after the game, so if you see a couple of the first team waddling on to the pitch on Sat you`ll know who cleared the tray!

Was chuffed one of the officials pointed oot to the ref Coco trying to clear the ba that hit a felled player was an accident cause I think it could`ve been a red card he was looking for.
