Huntly v Inverurie Loco Works

Pretty much spot on as usual Martin
I felt Locos playing 3 at the back and 5 in midfield against our 442 left us struggling in the middle for most of the game.
Andrzej ,Butler Brownhills , and Ross McKenzie, give us a lot more pace in the side which Fraser and Dorrat (at the moment) don't quite have.
Locos did not cope to well with this injection of better mobility and running and we looked a different side after the substitutions.
3 points in the bag which puts us in a great position.
With some of our best players getting back to full fitness (Guildy,Coombes, Redford,Richie Taylor) we have some additional momentum to come yet (bit like new signings ! )

good to hear the thoughts of Martin once again

Firstly I am not just writing this because of how the first half went as there were a few of us in the club before kick off who could not believe we were going with the same team as last week.
Manager has not learned from previous errors of judgement in sticking with the same team just because of earlier success.
Absolutely delighted with the win although to be fair a draw would have been about right.
Lets hope just because we won yesterday we don't start with the same team at Clach.

Keeping the ball in the corner to see out the win, was so there wasnt a repeat of what happened against formartine away. It might not be the most entertaining, but in some cases it has to be done.

I'm all for running the clock down when it needs to be done but we just don't do it well.

Well done to the players at the end of the day the result was right and thats all that matters. Seams to be allot of negative above after such a great 3 points. Everyone would have taken that before kick off.
