Huntly 4-0 Donside Juvenile

We started this game really weel but as it wore on it got a bit o a sentence tae watch.

Right fae the off we got at them and forced the play. Within the 1st 5 mins or so we won a penalty when a Donside defender caught a ba that was goin tae hit his face and Jamie expertly sent the keeper the wrang way for 1-0. Neal and Ross saw plenty o the ba again and were creatin a lot for us and Gary was playin some good passes through fae midfield. A ower the pitch oor passin wis good and positive findin oor men and runnin off the ba. Ross got oor 2nd goal and Ian got the 3rd fae a straight ba through the middle for 3-0 half time. The only bad thing aboot the 1st half wis the severe lack o effort in the tackle and tae close doon oor men properly.

2nd half wis a total non event, The ref could hav blew for full time efter 10 mins as we seemed tae hae settled for the score line. Liam did score the 4th wi aboot oor only concerted effort o the half and we were quite lucky nae tae lose a goal as it was really uninspirin play fae us, the worst we've been for a lang time. The loons I think aiways caent the win wis in the bag but we should hav pushed on for mare goals to keep a head o steam up. 4-0 full time.

Maybe playin sae much games off late has caught up wi us or confidence has grown among the loons tae the point noo that they caen fan they hav the measure o sumbody, I hope its the 1st thing. Nae body really stood oot enuff tae warrant a mention for man o the match. It wis like chalk and cheese sunday and tuesdays performances compared tae thenite. A wins a win I suppose its jist better tae win in a bity mare style.

On a great run a the same Mike. Young lads playing the ammout o games you lads have taken on board is quite something and still to be finding a bit more is something else. It`s a very very long time since I worked with this agegroup but by the sound o it you lads have been not only a credit to yersels but a credit to the Club.
