| For Starters Alan Redford ( Redman) is under contract until the end of next Season and he is NOT going anywhere. Bruce has declined to sign for Huntly and looks like he is heading to Formartine. Mo is on the transfer list but at present we have had NO offer for him but we did give loco's the all clear to talk to him. On the other players mentioned above ( Loco's players) i am not in a position to say anything about these players as they are under contract..... As i keep saying Huntly FC online will as usual be the first to have any information on the transfer news and as soon as there is anything to report i will inform Grant. The management team are working hard to bring in new faces and once we have things completed you will be the first to be advised..... Barry Who ever your source is they have it wrong this time. The highland league isna like the premiership far u can just go and buy players from anywhere in the world, in a small league like this u have to buy and sell to your rivals sometimes! | |

| On the striker front - Andy Bagshaw released from Peterhead (as far as I'm aware)
Was a well known target of Dave's when he first came to the club.
Just a possibility - not a rumour.

| but the downside is that the majority of players stepping down from Division 2 to HFL will be looking for a three figure sum per game | |

I don't think clubs should be held to ransom by players when negotiating contracts, if you have a player who is on a considerably larger weekly wage than his team-mates then it could affect morale in the camp if said player isn't pulling his weight. clubs would also have to look at their own finances too to see if they can justify spending large weekly wages on a few players alone. Those clubs doing so already could end up struggling financially in the long run. aren't Locos willing to sell on some players to free up the wage bill? |

I think the only reason Loco's are trying to cut the wage bill is due to the loss of two of the main money men at Harlaw Park.
