A comfortable win tonite and a boost tae oor confidence. We were niver under ony real pressure ower the hale game and could maybe hav had a few mare goals.
We started the game brightly and quickly got intae a groove wi Jamie, Darren and Gary linkin well up the left. Things were lookin good and efter 15 mins Darren got oor 1st with a superb chip ower the keeper, 1-0. The 2nd came quickly efter with Jamie firin hame a 30 odd yrd freekick high intae the net(great strike) 2-0. The 3rd was hard ahine it when Liam followed in a shot well and pinched the rebound fae the keeper and tucked hame, 3-0. The loons confidence was growin noo and wi played good fitba, Tatties had a good turn and finish for no.4 and Darren rounded off the 1st half scorin wi a back post tap in for 5-0 half time.
2nd half we kept up the good play and were in total control. We had a number o corners swung in by Jamie and Liam that were beggin tae be tucked awa but there were nae takers. Maty Skyner came on and scored wi his 1st touch fan he nipped in front o the keeper for 6-0. Liam had a nice turn and finish for 7-0. Craig got the 8th wi a placed left fit finish low in the corner and Maty Skyner rounded off the scorin wi a tap in for a final score o 9-0.
Kintore in a honesty werna up tae much, they hid a big loon at the back fa could scelp a ba and that was aboot the stretch o their tactics. Every goal kick he hit it as far as he could and we jist picked it up, it must hae been frustratin for his team mates. All oor goals came fae good build up play even if some were poked hame fae the keeper. Sometimes fan ye play the weaker teams it gets a mad scramble for abody tae get a goal but tonite we kept oor shape and disciplin well(even wi Jamie on the pitch) to play oor way tae the goal. Abody had a good game wi the only doonside bein oor inability to finish off ony o oor corners. (A better mention Rory hit the bar wi a header fae 1 o the corners) Gary fa was left back won the players man o the match and Neal at right back also stood oot.
Good fitba tonite so lets tak this on to Thursday vs Colony Park.
