Huntly 2-2 Muggiemoss

A fiesty encounter theday and a draw was probably fair in the end for baeth teams.
We started of really well and dominated the 1st 20 mins. A big shock when we actually took the lead in a game. 1 of oor many good moves up the right saw Ross's cross reach Jamie 18 yds oot and he placed his shot high above the keeper. 1-0. We made a few mare half chances and oor next best effort, again comin up the right saw Tatties hit the crossbar wi a 30 yd piledriver. Muggiemoss came into the game mare efter this and leveled things up when Steven hesitated on the ball and Neals pal pinched it off him and centred it for an easy tap in. 1-1 half time.
2nd half was pretty even again in midfield and oor defence coped well wi Muggiemoss's forwards. Oor passin wisna quite as good as 1st hal, rushin the pass and takin to many touches than needed at times. We got oor noses in front again when Jamie touched home Liams corner at the back post for 2-1. Muggiemoss were awarded a penalty when the ba hit Rory's hand, 2-2. Tatties then hit the post wi another good long range effort and Liam hit the bar when he got on the end o one o Jamies corners back post. Things were gettin a little heated by noo and there were a few bookins. Jamie got 1 for mouthin then another for unsportsmanlike conduct?! for a red. Muggiemoss got a couple booked too. At the side Muggiemoss were shoutin for oor loons to get booked for onythin and Neal was singled oot a few times by them. Typical Aberdeen team, its alright for them but nae for us. Their Dads were constantly mouthin at oor players but nae happy when they got an answer back. 2-2 final score.
We played ok again today but jist dinna seem to tak advantage of opportunities fan we're on top. Oor defence were solid enuff and I dinna think James was under ony real pressure. Jamie made a difference again theday, pity aboot his sendin off. I thought Neal was oor best player theday especially wi the hassle he got fae the side. I think we jist need to keep playin like this and hopefully oor luck'll change and the wins'll start to come again.

Well what can we say this game had it all. Good football from the lad's for most of the game. Gary on the left out ran the defender every time he went on a run. Neal played a blinder of a game even if we had to tell him to keep his mouth shut more than once. But he was only given as good as he got, as we were on the line and Kev found out in a face off with one of the other Dad's. Kev held his ground and temper very well.

Now back to the football. Think a win is coming just need to keep playing good strong football. But if Tatties keeps hitting the metal work that hard we're going to need bigger peg's to hold the goals up. Ha Ha.
