Huntly cruised to a 11-2 win against Broomhill yesterday at Kaimhill.
The visitors peppered the Broomhill goal throughout and the main feature was a remarkable double hat-trick by Greg Dorrat in that they were all headers - surely a unique feat.
Huntly opened the scoring with their first attack when a corner from Morrison was sliced into his own net by a home defender.
The second came in 10 minutes when Callum McINTOSH finished expertly when he got on the end of a cross to fire past the keeper.
Greg DORRAT then got in on the act with two headed goals in quick succession, the first from a Clark throw in and the second from a Morrison cross.
Broomhill pulled one back in the 34th minute when a cross from the right caught Ross off his line and the ball sailed over his head into the net.
Morrison scored number five for Huntly when his speculative cross from the left also ended up in the back of the net and just before half time DORRAT claimed his third and fourth of the day with two more headers.
DORRAT's purple patch continued after half time when he got in front of a defender to nod in number eight for Huntly and his own fifth before Broomhill pulled another one back when again a cross/shot eluded Ross.
Lewis HENDRY made it nine with a smart finish from a corner, DORRAT got on the end of an upfield clearance to make it ten and Scott LAW rounded off the scoring with a good finish to make the final score 11-2.
Another fine performance from the youngsters.
