| Disappointing that game is off, park was more than playable under the snow, but there was no way that the 10 people that turned up where going to get the park cleared in time. That has to be the most disappointing thing, 10 people!! 4 of which where commitee members, in my eyes that is shocking, Turriff managed to get half their park cleared by the time I got home from Christie Park and got there game on. Shows how much people care about their team are game off Turra game on! | |

In fairness Fraser, we really really need the income right now, plus theres a good chance we'll get our ifrst win in months today. All Huntly fans should get along to The Haughs and support your near neighbours efforts to get a permanently playable stadium.

| Really need a reality check here folks. Havind been involved in clearing the park three times previously my experience would suggest that getting the game on today was well nigh impossible. I was prepared to assist however on looking out the window at 7.45 am and seeing 4 inches of fresh fall had fallen overnight it was back under the duvet and I am sure that is where the rest of the volunteers stayed as well. Moving on to the boring facts of the logistics of clearing the park. The area of Christie Park is approx 7000 sq metres and it has just taken me 1 hour to clear my drive which is approx 25 sq metres and that was just throwing it into a heap. At best each volunteer would have probably managed 4 hours and that means we would have required 70 folk just to clear the park never mind the terracing and surrounds. The pitch may have been playable underneath but what damage was going to be caused by all the activity on the pitch trying to clear it. It was also going to be well attended game and having just returned from the park it is obvious there is no street parking and only half of the car park cleared. Really disappointed game is off but lets get real. And also no point in comparing with Turriff as we have no idea how much snow they had. | |

"Income" your not the only ones, we've not had a home game since you lot at the end of November. Yes a.h see you at The Haughs today, for what will be my 7TH Turra game of the season, I really need my head examined!
