The bus prices are so high at the moment we don't need the added expense of this.

Might not be possible to get a bus on 26th and 2nd at all.

I understand we have asked for the game to be moved and that has been rejected?

Good to see Strathspey have agreed to change their fixture just a pity Nairn wouldnt as well

Agree with Kathleen. I can see nairn's point of view, they want a big a crowd as possible but it looks like the supporters club and the football club will be paying out more for travel.

I agree with what's being said, but surely the key point is that these ties should never have been scheduled on these dates anyway.

Yes the same as we should never have back to league fixture's. What a joke!!

I was speaking to a Nairn supporter today eg Gordon Largue and he said that he can remember them having a bumper crowd on a Boxing Day before but surely they would still get a big crowd on a Sunday

Good idea to rearrage the fixture

Never heard of a highland league game being played on a sunday though

can't see why the club would want to change the fixture from the saturday, they never change for home internationals so boxing day is just another day, would the cost off a bus be any cheaper on the sunday?

True Foof but I'm sure the bus would be cheaper on the Sunday but Bankie will problably confirm that but it also would mean that the players could enjoy Christmas Day with their families rather than have to watch what they eat and drink on the big day.

Pitch inspection due for 11.30 tomorrow

I would say providing there isn't an overnight frost, game should be on ground isn't too hard and there's only a light covering of snow, easy to brush out the lines in order to get game on and back to winning ways. Thats going by my back garden tho!!
