Huntly Under 16s today made an incredible comeback to win 3-2 after being down 2-0 to Culter at a beautiful day at the meadows. Huntly got off to a poor start when Culter scored a simple goal after 5 minutes 0-1, but Huntly fought back and controlled the whole half without managing to score a goal, Hendry put Law through on goal on the left and the striker put his shot wide, then firing over when a Culter defender failed to clear. Dorrat had the best chance of half when the ball dropped to him six yards out but he to fired over. Then from a great inswinging corner from Andy Chalmers, Law went close with a header. Huntly kept pressurising and McIntosh was unlucky when the ball was deflected out of his path at the back post. HT 0-1. Huntly again had a poor start to the half when a Culter player scored from a header which went in off the underside of the bar.0-2 Huntly continued battling away and finnaly got their reward 15 minutes into the half when Cooper put Dorrat through and he slotted the ball into the far corner.1-2 Then a minute later, Huntly found themselves level when Law squared the ball to Milton who put a great ball into the box and Dorrat slid in to get his and Huntly's second.2-2 Huntly rallied for an equalizer but couldn't create much in terms of chances, Culter resorted to punting the ball into touch, sensing a Huntly winner could come at any moment. And it did when Barron knocked the ball to Dorrat who squared for Law to drill in his 40th for the season and Huntly's winner 3-2. Vital win today to keep up the chase 3rd place in the event of a A league team folding from their league. FT 3-2

Well done lads, even at 2 nil down you kept believing in yourselves ! fantastic result and maybe if you had shown this determination in some of the other games, where you threw away some stupid points, then you would be sitting top of this league where you deserve to be. Keep the attitude up going into the last 2 games.
