Spring is definitely upon us, and it was a lovely warm morning which greeted us in Kemnay. Unfortunately it also means I’m struggling to find time to write these up, so I’m afraid I’ll need to rattle through these again.
This wasn’t the most memorable of games. It was scrappy and Huntly rarely looked in control, but this perhaps wasn’t helped by what seemed at the time as some strange refereeing decisions. Especially a penalty for Kemnay, which shouldn’t have been, playing nearly 45 minutes in the second half, and booking a Huntly player just before the final whistle, for having the ball at the corner flag and being surrounded and hacked by 5 Kemnay players.
Final score 3-2 to Huntly, and the refereeing, whilst bizarre, can now safely fade into history after tonights match vs Kintore.
