TURRIFF V HUNTLY

We took another very young side to play Turriff last night. The pitch was real hard and bumpy but overhead conditions were very good.
Turra with no mid-week or Sat fixture put out a very strong side with plently first team players.
We kicked off and were playing some neat passing fitba and Turra with loads o big loons lumped plenty high ba`s into our box and to be honest they seemed to lump it high awie on the pitch.
They took the lead when a good cross was headed home fae close range and this took the steam oot o us for the rest o the haff.

Our haff time chat did the trick and we played even better this haff. We opened them up plenty times and although dangerous on the break they never troubled our keeper.
Newcommer Alex Dunn make great runs to get one v one two or three times but rushed his shots.
The game was always entertaining and it was a great experience for our young lads to play in front of a decent crowd on a Highland League pitch.

Chay and myself were even more pleased with this performance than our last one v Banks O`Dee, Turra had an even stronger team out.
Our lads took a lot out of this one and every player looked at ease against very experienced players.
