| A great result which should be named the 'Great Escape' Conditions were very difficult and Talbot coped far better and look a classy outfit. Really we did not turn up for most of the game which is why it is a great result. I hope we show our true colours in the replay and show those brilliant Talbot fans what we are capable of. Well done to the guys for once again sticking at it until the very end. | |

| Great result in the end. Very sloppy defending from huntly throughout the match. Good job Brems was on top form. Did anyone see what happened with the red card? | |

| Glad we got a draw even if it was left late. Got a run-down from Neep after i finished work tonight. Should hopefully get to the replay being off work next weekend, looking forward to it. Hopefully can get a decent result over there. | |

| We did get out of jail today. Brems was superb and kept us in the tie. The majority of bot fans were superb but some of the bile that was directed to our players at the final whistle from "fans" in the stand was out of order. | |

| Have to agree with Bovril about the game, very poor defensively except Brems who saved Huntly from certain defeat. Why do our defenders persistently stop with there hands up claiming for offside?Granted the conditions were terrible but we will need a huge effort next week to get a result. That said it was great to see the effort being rewarded with the late goal,it certainly shut up the Talbot fans who didnt take to someone scoring against them,it was if you werent allowed to score against them! | |

| at least next week we cannot play that badly again, very ,very poor.we will prevail next week.Brems must be knackered after running almost the length of the pitch after we scored, after playing a man of the match performance. KEEP THE FAITH | |

| so Pole Axe got red card (we had one today as well)
does that mean Taylor & Ewen up front next week ?
also sounds as though we got out of jail today did we "freeze" a bit OR
where they much better than expected ?

| Bear,As you know the conditions were tricky to say the least I thought they were decent but Huntly were very poor.Brems was MOM by a mile. The things to take out of today is that we cant be as bad next week and the fact that they are not so good we couldnt beat them.I thought they might have been better than they were so we have a chance next week.I would think it will be extremely hard next week playing in an intimidating atmosphere but least we have got the chance. | |

| I see that the weather also had an adverse effect on the match reporter yesterday. Talbot goal was well placed header from about penalty spot not 20 yd shot into top corner. A bit of creative writing I would say. | |

Heard also that the sending off was for an elbow off the ball (I did not see it) Assume it was though as the victim was clutching his face after he had been Poleaxed. Not an easy job getting everything right without a TV replay

| some of the language they were using in the stand was shocking especially when there were little kids about. i know there is obviously going to be swearing but constantly shouting that the huntly players were a bunch of f*****g c***s is a bit extreme!
the result did feel like a win and the Talbot fans didn't take it too well, i thought one of the was going to start a fight in the stands

| Must agree with everything people are saying regarding the game, thought we were very poor yesterday carrying far too many passengers on the park, even the players that normally do the simple things really well, had an off day. Why we insisted on thumping high balls into the box for Taylor and Andrzej to win, when they where playing against 6 foot plus centre halfs is still puzzling me. Maybe the fact that the grass on Christie Park doesn't look like it's been cut for weeks might have resulted in more high balls. Hope McGin changes a few tactics next week, by that I mean set pieces. We're putting balls in to the box into a wide position expecting someone to win a header 18 yards out and test a keeper. Why not put to the ball into the box on top of the keeper then all a player has to do is get the slightest touch to knock the ball past a keeper. Also lets change the drill at kick off's we're just giving the ball away and putting are self on the back foot from the off. Thought Brems was Man of the Match by a country mile yesterday and if it hadn't been for him we wouldn't have still been in the game come the 90 minute mark. Hope Mikey and Michele are given the start they both deserve next week. Finally will someone please tell Skins to shut up! every week he's moaning at officials, he was very lucky not to pick up a caution for dissent yesterday, follow that by the stupid challenge he was cautioned for, would have resulted in a red card that could have cost us the match. | |

| It's a cultural difference. Don't be fooled by the usual cliches about junior football having a nice, family atmosphere and being different in that respect to the senior game. The clubs are community run and it's cheaper than senior football but when it comes to the terracing banter, most junior fans are more ferocious than any milk sop senior fans. Most junior fans swear, a lot, and do so every Saturday home or away. As a Bot fan I honestly thought our support was extremely well behaved. If you thought what the Huntly team received was abuse then please never attend a Talbot v Cumnock/Glens/Kilbirnie/Irvine Meadow game, as anyone shocked by yesterday would no doubt swoon on the spot at the terracing shouts at any of those games. | |
