Huntly v Peterhead

We played this game at the Meadows on the Amatuers pitch sshhhhh hope none of em read this. It wiz cald and blowy but a bonny day.
I telt abody the game wiz at the Meadows and took a call in the changing room that hid the lads in knots. Three o mi team were at the Meadows in ELLON. Aye we had the usual call offs that dinna gee ye a chance to replace them so we started wi the bare eleven with our three amigo`s trying to make kick off.
This Peterhead outfit hammered us 6-0 nay lang ago, the then manager said they were too good for us. They hid some of our departed players in thier squad.
Peterhead won the game 3-1 and in a short sum up I`d say they were very LUCKY.
Our local side gave as good as they got in every department and to be fair on them they had a really good spell jist after the first half turnround.
Our lads played some really good stuff and once the calvary arrived via ELLON we were for the most of the game the better side. Peterhead had a couple of really good players but we had every player enjoying themselves. The loons finished the game gutted cause they lost and I canna blame them.
Our loons will benefit from playing these games and there was a very healthy crowd watching and enjoying the best 17`s game I`ve seen this season by a mile.
