It will be interesting to see if the Aberdeenshire FA do away with one of the Cup maybe the Shield The challenge cup has got to go. Happy for the sheild and aberdeenshire cup to go as well waste of time. I'd get rid of the Aberdeenshire Shield and Aberdeenshire League given that half the league will now be having to playing under 21s games on their pitches as well as trying to fit in 17 home games plus cup games. One possibility if they scrapped the reserve league would be to take in an under 21s rule for the aberdeenshire shield/cup

| The aberdeenshire league oot the window may be a good idea, could save clubs cash. How would that go with the size of squads clubs have? If you have a rule for the shield/cup you may have clubs filling the team with kids just to get the fixture out of the way. | |

| Bankie Jimbo, the answer is not clear cut. Each Highland League club was told there were three vacancies and four clubs had applied. We listened to each club make a twenty minute presentation. Two weeks later we were all asked to make our preferences known for the three clubs. The fact is that, without any collusion, all the Highland League clubs put in their individual votes for the three clubs, and Banks o'Dee were not one of the three chosen by the majority of the clubs. To find out why, you would need to talk to all the clubs in the Highland League. The fact is that the Banks o'Dee presentation did not attract enough votes from all the Highland League clubs to get them a place. It was not an individual decision, but one made by all the Highland League clubs. | |

| Robin, I was interested on how the club came to its decision and picked the 3 clubs it did ahead of banks. Rumour has it the presentation was not the best. Did the fans sway the choice at all?? | |

| The Board made the decision, taking into account the views of the committee and the views of fans who had made their views known to us, both informally and through the fans liaison officer, as well as on the presentations made by the four presenting clubs-and these presentations were a highly important part of the procedure. The fact remains that in a democratic vote, made by all Highland League clubs,Banks o'Dee did not get enough votes to be allocated a place. The rumour you mention is interesting. Possibly Banks o'Dee may wish to investigate this, I could not possibly comment. | |

im unsure about this after the new clubs have joined the league yes, but none of the new teams will be in it until their grounds are up to scratch and they apply for full membership of the SFA. No idea what I'll be doing on scottish cup weekends.
