This was by far the poorest display by the Huntly HL U17s side of the season.
After recording a good win against the Broch last week, the weaknesses of the team were once again highlighted by the 'year older ' Keith side.
The first period produced good passing football from the Huntly side but a defensive error saw them loose a goal against the run of play.
The second period saw a dramatic slump conceding 4 goals and the final goal being scored in the last period.
Poor Goalkeeping, Lack of defensive cover, Giving the ball away cheaply in midfield and a lack of cutting edge to the forwards play summed up the performance of the 17s. This was compounded by a lack of fighting spirit and a will to win.
This is a difficult age for players at present, they have proved in games that they can play better but what they have to strive for is
consistency in their play from week to week, something that is missing presently.
