Hi Folks,
On behalf of the club i would liek to wish Big John Henderson (Hendo) all the best for the coming world darts championship at the lakeside this coming Sunday... With the Huntly Game looking in dought i am sure everyone will be watching John play his darts on BBC at 2.40 pm.... I for one will be in the social club to watch the big man play his first game since i am now unable to attend the lakeside with him and the rest of the Huntly Crew that is heading down.

John on behalf of the club and everyone associated with us we are 100% behind you and will be shouting you all the way.. Good Luck MATE..

Im having a Party for the occassion, Unfortunately due to training guildy and co will not be able to enjoy it with us, poor timing for them

Is this the lastest update as heard a different time from his cousin who is down with him at 10 ish today and she thought hemight be on earlier and on 'ordinary' tv - guess we will just have to watch it from early on !

You did Huntly proud by the way you conducted yourself, and also you got rave reviews from the commentators,regarding yourself and all your fans who supported you at the Lakeside.

Aye have to agree he did Huntly proud and as you said it was really good to hear the commentators say how nice his family are, they left Lakeside at 6 this morning and were last heard of just north of Edinburgh - they have been warned about the lovely weather we have up here though !

Clearly a lot of respect in the darts world for Hendo judging by the commentary.

John did well,it was just his doubles that let him down in both matches.The big difference is the fact that Waites,Adams,O'Shea etc are profesionals,darts is their jobs.It just goes to show what a great achievement it was for John to qualify.I just wish people would stop calling him Hendo,his nickname is Minser,always was and always will be!

I heard that one off the Huntly Boys won the frimley green village pub new years darts comp on the sunday night!!!! I wonder who that could be???

See Johns qualified for the grand slam of darts which starts on saturday night? Everybody should be able to watch him because its on itv4 now that huntly has changed over to digital.... John has got Merv King, Stacy bromberg and Terry jenkins in his group and plays jenkins on sat night...
