TRAINING MATCH.

Monday 27 Oct. '08. - Formartine Utd U19's 6 v. Huntly HL U17's 4. (Played at Meldrum Academy All Weather Floodlit Pitch).

This turned out to be a good training match for the young Huntly side against their older counterparts in what was rather Winter like conditions.

Never the less there was some slick passing played by both sides and the game was played at a very high tempo. Both teams must be commended for their discipline and sporting behaviour in tricky underfoot conditions.

It was always going to prove difficult for Goalkeepers on an evening like this and a couple of errors did not help the Huntly cause.

Formartine to their credit played very well on a surface they were more used to and deserved their victory.

The 17's return to HL Duty on sunday away to Peterhead, KO - 1pm. looking to keep up their impressive form against opposition
who will no doubt prove to be difficult to beat! All players will be informed of venue in due course.

Outings like the above will do the lads no harm in their quest to become better players.
