I would think companies will hike up prices for buses, cant see why when most folk will be off on Monday the 28th and 4th they cant play the games then, feel sorry for the players not being able to enjoy their Christmas pud and a few drinks on the 1st

See the Vale v Wick game due to be played on 26th Dec will now be played on Sunday 27th Dec - good idea Feel sorry for players from other clubs who wont be able to enjoy Christmas with their families knowing they have to play the following day I think Monday 28th Dec & 3 Jan are public holidays - maybe games could be rescheduled to those dates. We are away to Nairn on the 26th Dec and home to Strathspey on the 2nd Jan

It is a public holiday but the original dates should never have been published. I take it a change of date will be down to clubs themselves?

The bus prices are so high at the moment we don't need the added expense of this.

I was speaking to a Nairn supporter today eg Gordon Largue and he said that he can remember them having a bumper crowd on a Boxing Day before but surely they would still get a big crowd on a Sunday

can't see why the club would want to change the fixture from the saturday, they never change for home internationals so boxing day is just another day, would the cost off a bus be any cheaper on the sunday?

True Foof but I'm sure the bus would be cheaper on the Sunday but Bankie will problably confirm that but it also would mean that the players could enjoy Christmas Day with their families rather than have to watch what they eat and drink on the big day. |
