Can we give AH a loudspeaker so he can read out the 50/50 winner and the half times.

It could also be used for any match reffed by Mr Mather !!

Folks,

I have a company coming up on Monday to go over the PA system, I think we will have to replace the one we have but they will confirm this and also give me a price to fit a new complete system.

I can only apologise for this but the present system has been in place for about 30 years and has lasted well.

Andy

The P.A. system died a death
Announcements are no more
Raffle winners are a guess
No Highland half time scores

For the second hand replacement
Its still too quiet today
Time to do a keyboard search
On the internet's e-bay

It is a league requirement
For sound systems at the ground
And we must have something louder
Than Little Grinch's sound

We look forward to an update
For too long its been quiet
We need to hear a song or two
or '' I predict a riot !''

Sleep elephant Laughing

I keep asking what is the up date and keep being told it is in hand
We havent sold 50/50 over the last few home games as we cant announce the winning number over the PA system - only other solution is to post the winning number on the gate so fans can see it on way out of ground but then not everyone comes and goes by the main entrance.
Have to say dont think it gives a good professional image of the club when we cant announce the teams/scorers/half time scores etc
I will certainly bring it up at the next meeting - but hopefully it has been sorted out by then

"It is in hand"; Kathleen that's an insulting reponse to a committe member, you should demand facts, have quotes been obtained, has a contract been agreed, what are the agreed timescales etc. Whether or not this information should be passed on to fans is another matter, but you are entitled to know the facts.

I'll second that!

I think the line in Bovrils poem that "it is a league requirement" puts the argument in it's place.

If we sang "we want bankie jimbo" at todays game would that make a difference??

It was good to hear it up and running on Saturday.
Assume the 50/50 will be back for the Buckie Match

The reason for the PA System taking so long to fix was the fact that Sandy Morris has been busy and he was tasked with sorting it.

We can only apologise for the time it took but we do have other jobs to work with aswel

Why cant we be told this at the start? If it was taking so long,it just needed someone to come on and say. That would have been end of story. As usual crisis out of a drama Mad
