new rulings on banned users

Subject: new rulings on banned users Sun May 04, 2008 10:46 pm

if any user receives three bans from the forum they will be banned indefinitely from now on.

the following users have had 3 bans and will not be allowed back on.

Russell
Graham

The following users have also been given permanent bans after copyright issues and abuse towards club officials and players

Russell says he would like another chance and that he will behave if he is given one. He belives you should be given warning about these changes.

can't see anything more simple than if you've had 3 bans, why should u get another chance, swearin and bein abusive to other members shouldn be tolarated, it's a forum and ppl are entitled to their own opinion no matter what and othe ppl will disagree with them

I think its a fair enough rule but i think its harsh on the folk that had their 3 bans before this rule was made. Perhaps if they had known this before they wouldnt have been so abusive.

You put a point across without being abusive
Not everyone has the same point of view, some maybe dont like a player etc but you dont have to be abusive towards them or a topic

Your right enough Kathleen but banning posters can ruin forums if every poster had the same opinion i think the forum would be a bit boring only have to look at the lossie forum. Good thing about this one is grant seems to let most things go. The 2 young lads who are being abusive will learn and im sure they will change there ways.
